It is with much excitement that we announce REBAA’s 21st Birthday Conference. Help us celebrate in Brisbane from 6-7 February at Gambaro Hotel in Petrie Terrace. With a diverse range of guest speakers and experts from across the country, this is a key event for networking with interstate colleagues and gaining an insight into the latest property trends.
The conference theme is ‘Celebrating 21 Years‘ in recognition of more than two decades advocating for best practice in the industry.
Key speakers confirmed include the following:
- Dr Kristy Goodwin is a speaker, author, researcher and media commentator exploring the impacts that our digitalised lives have on our physical health, mental wellbeing and productivity. She is passionate about igniting peak-performance in a digital age by sharing brain-based solutions. Kristy explains how the human brain and body operate in the digital world we live and work in.
- Cameron Kusher is Economic Manager-Economic Research at the REA Group. He was formerly Head of Research at CoreLogic Australia for 11 years. Cameron will be presenting on his new role and giving us a glimpse of what lies ahead for the property market in a COVID-19 world.
- Chris Bates is a mortgage broker and owner of Wealthful. He has built a strong social media following on LinkedIN with 20,000 followers where he shares his strong views on what advice young Australians need to hear on sound property investing. He shares his experiences building his personal brand.
Our focus on Brains Trust, Hot Seat and a special REBAA ‘Founding Fathers’ interview will add an interactive REBAA team element to our 21st birthday AGM.
Our two-day conference will kick off formally at 11.00am on Sunday 6 February (with refreshments served prior) and will wrap up at around 2.30pm on Monday 7 February. Gambaro’s Hotel on Caxton St, Petrie Terrace, is our booked venue and accommodation is available for members at a special rate, inclusive of continental breakfast. Gambaro’s is honouring the room rates proposed for last year and the dinner can be booked via the registration link.
Dinner will be local with all orders to be placed via the Eventbrite link provided. A set menu is provided including a vegetarian option. Travellers have to be aware of the protocols for QLD entry and they are advised to keep an eye on it to ensure they have up to date information. We look forward to seeing you there!
